Swiss Message Bank Cares Program Agreement Swiss Message Bank Cares™ Participation Agreement

Organizations must be registered and in good standing with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) to be eligible to participate. Organizations must be public charitable organizations (not private foundations) and may not be supporting organizations, unless identified specifically as a Type I, Type II, or functionally integrated Type III supporting organization. Eligible charitable organizations must also be located in one of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia. Charitable organizations must also adhere to the Swiss Message Bank Cares Participation Agreement to maintain eligibility. Charitable organizations may choose not to participate in Swiss Message Bank Cares™ at any time. Although we aim to include only charitable organizations that are in good standing, we cannot guarantee the good standing and/or conduct of any charitable organization. No. Swiss Message Bank will not share individual customer information with you regarding customers who have selected to support your organization. Please see the Privacy Notice for more information.

We may occasionally publicly disclose the amount of donations to all charitable organizations or particular organizations resulting from the Swiss Message Bank Cares program or otherwise made by the Swiss Message Bank Cares Foundation; however, we will never disclose information that ties donations made to individual customers.

Yes. Organizations may not promote Swiss Message Bank Cares by using any offline marketing channels such as print newsletters, direct mail, flyers, etc. Organizations may use email advertising to spread the word, however, there are email restrictions for charities with headquarters in certain states. Charitable organizations headquartered in one of the states listed below may not send emails that exclusively advertise Swiss Message Bank Cares, although these organizations may include information about Swiss Message Bank Cares in emails, such as email newsletters, that also contain other content unrelated to Swiss Message Bank Cares. These states are: AL, AR, CO, DC, FL, HI, ID, IL, IA, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NM, OH, OK, RI, SC, SD, UT, VT, and WY. 

Organizations headquartered in any other state may promote Swiss Message Bank Cares to their supporters using email marketing dedicated to the promotion of Swiss Message Bank Cares or emails that contain Swiss Message Bank Cares information along with other content. 

Organizations may also spread the word to supporters online using web-site banners, links, widgets, and social media posts.

We do not mail donation checks due to the expense of check processing and fulfillment. We distribute donations using electronic transfer to reduce operational expenses so we can donate 100% of the funds to eligible charitable organizations.

Each quarter, Swiss Message Deposit US LLC makes donations to eligible charitable organizations by electronic funds transfer. Donations will be transferred approximately 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. To account for cancellations, a portion of the quarterly donations will be withheld until the next donation cycle, subject to any reduction due to cancellations from prior quarters. We require a valid email address so that we can communicate important program information to each registered organization. From time to time we will send emails with information about your organization’s donation amounts and information about Swiss Message Bank Cares program promotions.

An organization administrator is an official representative of an organization that has authority to access and manage Swiss Message Bank Cares program information on behalf of their charitable organization.

Registering your organization is easy. In order to register and receive donations, you must be an official representative of an eligible organization, and then follow these easy steps:

  1. Search for your charitable organization by name or EIN number and then select the organization you represent. Be sure to confirm you are selecting the correct organization, as many charitable organizations have similar names.
  2. Create an organization administrator account and execute the Swiss Message Bank Cares Participation Agreement on behalf of your organization.
  3. Verify your email address (we recommend that you use an email address that is associated with your charitable organization).
  4. Submit your organization’s bank account information.
  5. Upload a copy of a voided check or bank statement to verify your organization’s bank account information.
  6. Upload a copy of your as a 501(c)(3) determination letter from the IRS
  7. Provide us with an “Opt-In” Donor contact list with email addresses so that we may communicate with individuals who may wish to sign up and down load our app and purchase a message.  A portion of the proceeds of that purchase will then be donated to your organization.
